diagnostic assessment
We offer psychological diagnostic assessments for clients aged 16 years and older. Our psychologists use their expertise to clarify your patterns of symptoms, struggles, strengths, personality traits, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. They will consider possible mental health diagnoses, provide feedback to help you to better understand yourself, and suggest effective strategies to improve your mental health.
psychological diagnostic assessment process
Initial Consultation (1 hour): The assessment begins with a discussion of your concerns, so that your psychologist can plan a personalized assessment strategy.
Comprehensive Evaluation (3 hours): Your assessment includes in-depth clinical interviews and self-report questionnaires. Depending on the areas of concern, it may also include performance-based tasks and/or review of collateral information such as medical documents or informant interviews.
Analysis and Report (3 hours): Your data is analyzed and integrated into a detailed report explaining diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations.
Feedback (1 hour): Once the assessment is completed, you and your psychologist will meet to discuss the results and recommendations.
The total cost for a comprehensive psychological diagnostic assessment is $2000.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking, which will be applied to the cost of the final feedback session.
Possible modifications to the assessment process, duration, or cost should be discussed in advance.
